Guests on incentive trips and long winter stays expect to be known by name, and the staff who create that impression are the ones in constant contact — valet, poolside, restaurant. A Spanish-speaking employee who executes flawlessly but converses minimally is invisible in exactly the interactions the resort is charging for.
