Your servers and bartenders practice exactly what they face in front of a guest: taking the order, describing the menu and handling allergies. Model phrases, natural-voice audio and daily correction — not grammar rules nobody repeats at the counter. Victoria's hospitality workforce is mixed, with a smaller Spanish-speaking share than the Rockies resort markets. Where Spanish-speaking employees are present, the service demand is conversational: guests arrive for gardens, tea, whale watching and history, and expect the property to interpret the city for them. That is exactly the interaction limited English closes off.
