Whistler's seasonal workforce is heavily international and includes a large Latin American contingent from Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Colombia, alongside Australian and European staff. Guests are English-speaking Canadians, Americans and international visitors. Latin American employees are frequently placed into guest-facing roles quickly, which makes the first weeks of English the operational bottleneck of every season.

Directly. Instruction and coaching are in Spanish, practice is on their own phone or any other device, and the placement exam starts each person at their real level rather than at the beginning.

How does billing handle two seasons and two shoulders?

Per-property pricing does not move with headcount inside a band, and a property that genuinely reduces operations in a shoulder can be paused and resumed.
