Association meetings, government travel, embassies and school groups fill different parts of the calendar, and spring brings a heavy family and student leisure season.
The District and its Maryland and Virginia suburbs have large Salvadoran, Guatemalan and Honduran communities, and those workers are heavily represented in hotel housekeeping, banquet and facilities. The guest side is the opposite: association executives, government travelers and international delegations who communicate in careful, formal English. The distance between those two registers is where service breaks down.

The front desk and restaurant modules cover formal register, service recovery and dietary confirmation, which is most of what association service demands. Property-specific standards can be added as custom content.

It is built specifically not to. The tone is professional rather than remedial, the instruction is in their own language, and the placement exam starts people where they actually are instead of at the beginning.
